Write for GAJET

Could you write something interestingfunny or useful that would be right at home on the GAJET website? We are one of the most visited AJET resources on the internet and we’re always looking for writers. We receive thousands of visitors every month from people looking to find out more about the JET Programme and life in Japan.

We Want You!

We’re especially interested in trip reports, tips for teachers, ‘survival’ guides and anything unusual that caught your attention in Japan. Most of our articles are concise – 200 to 800 words – comfortably within reach of one unusually productive free period.

We accept articles from anyone. Whether you’ve already explored every corner of Gunma or you stumbled across our website by Googling unusual uses for konnyaku, we want to hear from you.

OK, I’m ready! Contact us through the website or email our editor if you have an idea you’d like to discuss or you already have something you’d like us to see.

JuicyBut… I already write a personal blog

Great! All guest authors are featured in our ‘blogroll’ which appears in the sidebar of every page. You’ll also be able to include a link back to your blog from within the article you write, alongside a short bio. These small links might not appear like much, but the GAJET website is well respected by search engines and will help improve the search engine ranking of your blog.

Calling all photographers!

If you feel more comfortable behind a camera than in front of a keyboard, we’d love to share your photos with our visitors. Just include the story behind your shot in a brief description and we’ll share it with Gunma.

Email photos to [email protected]. If you’d like to share a video, upload it to YouTube and send us a link.
