GAJET Elections: We Want YOU!
Gunma AJET is a group dedicated to the ALT community in Gunma (JETs and Private ALTs alike). We organise events and activities that bring the ALT community together and provide support. If Japan is the engine and you are the pistons, GAJET is the oil that keeps things running smoothly.
It is time to elect a new council to take the torch forward into the new year. All positions are open for nomination so If you think you can do a good job of it nominate yourself.
I have stood for re-election as Gunmania designer (but of course If you can/want to do better, feel free to nominate yourselves) I have had a blast this last year. Admittedly now that the blog is running well any monkey with a PC could keep it going so I am not doing too much right now. The job also does involve the design of the print edition that all the new JET ALTs get at orientation so I am itching to get that one going again. For me personally, this task has been a chance for me to use my skills (well a tiny fraction of them at least) which I would probably not have used had I not nominated myself.
If you feel drawn to a position, you will likely enjoy the task. After the pic is the official posting off the GAJET site. Peruse the contents and se what suits you…
