2008 GAJET Ski/Snowboard Trip UPDATED - NEW INFORMATION, NEW PLAN

Venue: Norn Skijo, Minakami, Gunma-ken

15th March

Meeting at the ski resort at 9am, please arrange carpooling!


Hi fellow Gunma JETs, it seems people are not interested in an overnight stay
to enjoy two days of skiing/snowboarding with a decent party, but perhaps the
financial situation dictates otherwise.

So, I suggest a one day trip to either Norn in Minikami. The ski resort have offered us
a special discount price of 2,500yen for all day lift pass (half price!!!). So, the ball
is in your court. If you are interested, please notify me of which venue you prefer, and
also if you require to rent any equipment or clothing. I have suggested Saturday 15th
of March, so any feedback is welcome. Just remember the season is coming to an end!

I look forward to seeing you all on the slopes...

If there are any problems with getting there, please drop me a line and I'll try to arrange a drive with a group. Note, sign-up on GAJET forum is essential to receive special
discount for lift-passes. Anyone just turning up on the day will have to pay full price!

Hey I'm still in for the one-day boarding! If the guys aren't going - could I bum a board off of them? Maybe?
I can drive - however, I don't have 4-wheel, just snow tires.

Hi Everyone,

The list is closed and is in the process of being confirmed with our contact in Norn skijo. All you have to do now is turn up on the day (please!) as close as possible to 9am as you can, so I can make sure you get your half price ticket as promised! I'll be there myself, and hopefully will be on time, because I have to be!
