Many of you will be taking the driving test soon. Here is the contact number for the driving school in Takasaki.

They do not speak much English, but the little old lady who usually teaches the foreigners driving course knows enough to make sure you know what to do even if your Japanese isn't great. You will have to call and make an appointment. I don't think they take walk-ins.

If you live a bit far away from Takasaki here are some other options.

(It's in Japanese but, just click on the car map icon and the address of the place will come up, when in doubt just ask a japanese speaking friend for help)

There are locations for Nakanojo, Shibukawa, Isesaki, and the rest are generally around the Takasaki, Maebashi area. There should be one at least within an hours drive of where ever.

I don't know about the English abilities of the employees of these places however (-_-)
As I mentioned before just ask a friend to help out and everything will work out (^o^)/
I did a walk-in for the place in Shibukawa, I just had to wait for a bit, but it was no problem. I "assume" its similar for the other places, but if you're really worried you can always call ahead.

Anyways, just wanted to say that if you look around you can probably find a place that's closer to you ( ﾟДﾟ)
