Human Tape Recorder

So we all know the expression "Human Tape Recorder". Ut-oh don't let your JTE turn you into a human tape recorder. Right?

Does anyone else have the expirience of thier JTEs actually using the CD player when your standing right there in the room?

At first, it seems a little tough to come to terms with the fact that your most important job of the day is to be a human tape recorder, but to be replaced by the tape recorder, takes it to another level I think.

Sorry, just thought I'd complain today.

...almost every lesson at jhs features a cd when I'm in the room for the dialogues etc, then I read them again afterwards...?? I like to just mock the ridiculous accents and overacting form the CDs, and put on funny voices mimicking or contrasting to the characters...makes the kids laugh and they get into it too. So they start to realise that language is not just a bunch of foregn sounds, it is expression.
So, if you dont like the recordings... ridicule them!! Its great fun. I like making little Emi into a high-pitched whiny wuss, and MsGreen is a beast-baratone, Shin is the most natural of all the actors (tabun) so sometimes I leave him alone. I maybe he can get a yogi bear voice next time.
