Man, it sounds like good times. Can't wait!
By the way, if it rains (Hopefully not), does anyone have any good suggestions on where we can go instead?
eg. bars, pubs etc
Preferabaly, somewhere that is easy access from Takasaki Station where a group of approx 50~60 people can walk in without reservation.

Odessa?
Maybe Odessa. But it would be tight.
.
All of the other bars are really tiny as far as I know, but maybe Takasaki peeps would know of other options.

I second that
I second that. Odessa would be a good idea.
What about "The Kirin Beer Hall". It's kind of a dive, but the beer is cheap (380yen for the big glass) and the food is decent/cheap.
Where is the Kirin Beer Hall?
Where is the Kirin Beer Hall? I've never been there.

Kirin Beer Hall
From Takasaki Station take the West Exit and go straight towards the Family Mart like you are walking toward the City Hall. Walk a few blocks till you see Takasaki FM (the radio station). At the radio station turn right into the ally. You should see it about a stones throw away from you. It's two stories and is covered with red lanterns.
Charity Drive Finished?
Is GAJET done with the charity drive? Because I know I still have a bunch of clothes to get rid of.

yes...
but if you're willing to buck up 1200 yen or so for shipping, the Salvation Army will be more than willing to take them. Just send them along to

Post office, and it didn't
Post office, and it didn't appear to be based on weight (as in they didn't weigh it). It was the size of the box, which was rather large (although only about 1/10th of what we received... have a few more trips to make)
Salvation
Lyle, did you already send the goods from the charity drive to Salvation Army? I still have bagfulls of stuff.
I'm in the process of
I'm in the process of sending the stuff, but we're not accepting any more donations. Our shipping budget is just barely going to squeak by with the mountains of stuff we received (thank you all, by the way)...
but the address is in a previous comment!

Party in your pants?
Any takers?
There is the Izakaiya above
There is the Izakaiya above WOAL which isn't far from the station. There are also many Izakaiya towers across from Takasaki Station if people get desperate. I probably won't come back to this post, email me if you want something more in depth.
