Hello, my name is Minako Kumagai, and I have been doing research concerning JET participants since 2000. So far, I have been conducting specific JET-related surveys, but to further my research, I am now seeking to administer my questionnaire to ALTs living and teaching in a number of prefectures. The survey asks you about what you believe are teachers' roles, Japanese schools, relationship with Japanese colleagues, team teaching, and teacher training. The questionnaire features multiple choice questions and open-ended questions, and it will take only a couple of minutes to answer them. This study is being conducted for an empirical paper, and your voluntary participation will be confidential and anonymous.
