Heading to Gunma!

Aloha Gunma JETs!

My name is Tricia, and I'm a newbie, heading for Shibukawa!
I'm going to be in Japan with my family soon, and would love to head over to Shibukawa to see what it's like before I get there.

My only problem is I have no clue what to see or do when I get there!

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Hello, Tricia! Welcome to Gunma! I hope that you and your family will enjoy your time here.

I don't know much about what there is to do in Shibukawa, but I used to live even further north in Numata. If you continue up to Minakami there are all sorts of outdoor activities, such as white water rafting and canyoning. Additionally, there is good hiking all over the prefecture.

Another good thing to do in in Gunma is to check out the hot spas in Kusatsu.
