Isesaki Tonegawa Fireworks Festival

I was prepping for the Newcomer's Guide and looking up local festivals and noticed this website:
http://www.g-is.or.jp/hanabi/hanabi.html

It announces that due to a lack of financial support, the Isesaki Fireworks Festival has been canceled this year (2008).

Hey there, I just asked my JTE, apparently there are two Firework displays in Isesaki, the main one will still go ahead but the smaller one in Sakaimachi seems to be cancelled.

that sucks. its one of my favorite festivals. really small and cozy... Damn Jets taking all the money!
