Electronica Scene in Gunma

I know there are probably a lot of trance addicts and house heads in Tokyo, but in Gunma are there any parties/events/locations besides the limited amount of clubs in Takasaki?

not too sure BUT tokyo isn't too far away so if u can't find what you are looking for here u can always go there. during the next few months there will be fullmoon parties in the gunma mountains. i am not one for out door/dancing/clubing. between the massive amount of people and the dirt your kicks and gear will get jacked up by the end of the night but its fun nevertheless.

I guess I'm trying to find a place where I'm not tethered and can go home and crash quickly if I want... Also looking for the locals too.

Yeah I'm way into trance and to be frank there is no scene in Gunma. The Minakami Full moon parties are awesome though - getting dirty clothes is half the fun! But for shizo Tokyo is where it's at and usually what people do is catch the 1st train home and just sleep on the train. I've been out to clubs in Takasaki and Kiryu and to be fair punk night is the only night that brings a crowd. Ganbatte!
