Event Information:

The Oohinata Fire Festival, in Nanmoku village, is the largest remaining fire festival in the prefecture and is designated as an intangible cultural Prefectural treasure. Head up to the Oohinata Bridge in Nanmoku on the 14th and 15th of August to catch the action. For more information, please contact the Nanmoku Shinko Seiba-ka on 027-487-2011.

I'm hoping to go to this festival. Is anyone else planning to go? I heard that you can't get to Nanmoku village without a car (which I don't have) so I was hoping I could hitch a ride with someone.
