Isesaki Fireworks Display

Event Information:

People come from not only Gunma, but all around Japan to see this amazing display that involves the launch of 30,000 rockets over a period of 90 minutes. It will be held on the 30th of August and viewable from such places as Seibu Koen, Love River Shinsui Koen and so on which you can walk to from Isesaki Station in about 15 minutes or drive to from Komagata Highway Exit in 10 minutes. Fireworks are scheduled to go off from 7:39 to 8:31, with entertainment from 7:00. With the big crowds that'll be there, arrive early - maybe even an hour early or more (aftn. picnic if ya want to get real close?) if you want a good place to watch from. Walking thru the crowds from the station to the fireworks area will take time, so maybe a good idea to find a viewing spot. If you stay @ the beer garden welcome party for an hour & not much more, you should be able to make it over to the fireworks in plenty of time.
