2008/08/30 - 18:00 2008/08/30 - 23:00 Event Information: "Isesaki Fireworks Display * Festival/Convention Start: 2008/08/30 - 00:00 People come from not only Gunma, but all around Japan to see this amazing display that involves the launch of 30,000 rockets over a period of 90 minutes. It will be held on the 30th of August and viewable from such places as Seibu Koen, Love River Shinsui Koen and so on which you can walk to from Isesaki Station in about 15 minutes or drive to from Komagata Highway Exit in 10 minutes. Better than fireworks!
If you go to the Beer Garden party, drink a bunch of beer and then rub your eyes really hard, you can see firworks. So I say go to the Beer Garden Party and get the best of both worlds.
