Count me in for fun soccer action in Nagano. It's gorgeous up there and I can't wait to hit the fields and tear shit up again! Namely myself. I have no soccer experience, other than running the length of the field repeatedly and swinging my legs here and there, and I promise I won't bring anyone that will call the cops and wake up the entire ryokan at 4am this time around. Pick me, pick me! As for practices though, I gotta say my weekends from now through the tourney are pretty booked, but let's definitely try to make it happen! I will bring a hacky sack with me everywhere I go... because they're cool, not because it's gonna improve my soccer skills.

We can use anyone with the heart to play! I haven't played in years, but went last June and had a great time, despite the lack of subs. This year, recruit, recruit, recruit!!!

Players - Friday & Saturday night - ￥16,500 Saturday night only - ￥11,500
Supporters - Friday & Saturday night - ￥14,500 Saturday night only - ￥9,500

Prices include hotel accomodation (including breakfast and evening meals), ground fees, shuttle bus transfer from hotels to grounds, entrance to party, free kampai beer, trophies for winners / runners up and curry lunch on Sunday. Also includes a 500 yen donation to The Pepy Ride charity (if you do not wish to pay this, please let me know, but please reconsider!)

Uniforms: light blue Gunma T's (don't have one? they're 1000 yen, let me know your size)
cleats/boots are not necessary, but helpful, especially if the ground is wet. there is a soccer shop near maebashi station that sells relatively cheap gear, if interested. if anything, shinguards are nice.
