2008/09/27 - 00:00 2008/09/27 - 23:59 Event Information:
That's right, it's sumo time. Who? You! We'll meet up at Takasaki Station, and head as a group down to the Kyokai in the morning on the 27th. Enjoy a great day of sumo, and grab a bite before we head our separate ways. Pricing isn't worked out entirely yet, but if we want tickets we need numbers NOW. A larger group means we may qualify for a discount. For now plan for about 4,000 yen, although the actual price will probably be a bit cheaper. (This isn't including your train fare to Tokyo) If you're interested please leave a comment or email me at gajet.admin [at] gmail {dot} com by SEPTEMBER 8 It's going to be a blast. SEPTEMBER 8 is the LAST DAY for reservations. No changes after SEPTMEBER 8. Even if it's 12:01 am September 9th there will be NO CHANGES. -update- If you didn't get on the list and still want to go, please get in contact with me. Not all hope is lost. There a few ways of getting tickets by yourself, and I'll be more than happy to help you find them. ------ The FINAL List Begins ------- A.Tanimoto Total: 34 people ---- The List Ends ---- |

How?
How do I go about getting tickets myself if I want to go? I wasn't even in Japan yet when the sign up deadline passed.
easiest way..
Is to head over to Lawsons. If you're a bit comfortable with using a computer in Japanese it's easy to buy the ticket yourself using their Loppi ticket computer. You can search by date and venue, but it's easiest to enter in the L-Code: 30126 (this is for arena seats). The process isn't too complicated. Just make sure you get the right date (27th). If you can't figure it out, the staff can probably help you; or take a Japanese person
Fail that you can show up the day of, early in the morning and try and get one of a handful of general admission tickets.
More information at http://www.sumo.or.jp/eng/ticket/tokyo.html (including how to get tickets at FamilyMart and SanKus)
Which seating area?
Which seating area is everyone else in?

arena C. We're a bit spread out in 3-4 different sections.
