Camera gear, maybe for someone looking to get into SLRs

I have a few items I don't use anymore, but they may be useful for someone looking to buy a new SLR or wants some new toys for their old one.

Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G ED IF AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom Lens (asking 20,000 yen)
My first lens, sharp and versatile, check out www.photoblog.com/AlexanderLaws posts from July 2007 to November 2008 to see some pictures taken with this lens. I left the box and manual in the states, but you can download the manual. It comes with a bag, both lens caps and a hood.

Hoya 67mm DMC PRO1 Digital Multi-Coated UV (Ultra Violet) Filter (asking 3,000 yen)
This fits the lens above. It's always a good idea to have UV filter on you lenses. This wayt eh filter will absorb any damage before it gets to the lens.

B+W 67mm Circular Polarizer MRC C-POL Filter (Asking 5,000 yen)
Multicoated pro-1 filter. Fits the lens above but could be used on a cannon lens just as easily. A high quality circular polarizer is like magic. They can remove reflections. So? If you like nature photography you need one of these because leaves are really reflective so they will look white in your photos, but bright green if you use a polarizer. It also make the blue in the sky darker and deeper by removing stay reflected light.

B + W 67mm #502 Color Graduated Filter - Dark Grey Neutral Density (ND) (Asking 3,000 yen)
Third filter goes from shaded to clear. It is useful when one part of the shot is to bright, like when you are taking a picture of a sunset/sunrise.

Nikon AF Zoom Nikkor 70-300mm F4-5.6G (asking 8,000 yen)
Another of my first lenses. This lens is great for nature or sports and is nice compliment to the 18-70mm, check out www.photoblog.com/AlexanderLaws August 26th 2007: soccer practice, for some shot taken with this lens. This lens doesn't have a bag and I left the box an manual in the states. I do have three cheap filters that I will though in for free (made by Tiffen 62mm), UV, circular polarizer, 812 warming and a step up adapter from 62mm to 67mm so you can use the above filters on this lens.

Joby GP3-01EN Gorillapod SLR-Zoom Flexible Tripod for Digital SLR Cameras (asking 2,000 yen)
Cool and light tripod/grip. Says it is for SLR, but my D200 was a bit too heavy for it. I think D40/D60 with a smallish lens would be ok. and of course it cool for point and shoots.

Slik SBH-100 compact ball type tripod head (asking 1,500 yen)
Cool little ball head for tripods. Tough enough to hold up may heave D200 with a 18-200mm VR lens. If I add the flash it drifts a little, but should work great for any lighter stuff. This would be useful with the joby tripod above or any other tripod even adding functionality to those little table top tripods.
