CLAIR Japanese Language Courses

Here is a note about the Japanese Language Courses from Programme Coordinator, Kevin Meek, at CLAIR. You should be recieving the workbooks at your workplace (or BoE) shortly if you haven't already. Remember to be able to recieve a certificate of completion, you must submit (and score 70% or higher on) at least 5 of 6 books before their respective deadlines.

Hello Everyone,
The first set of materials for the JET Programme Language Courses 2008-09 (Beginning, Intermediate, & Advanced) are being sent out during the first half of October. They are scheduled for delivery at your places of work (BOE or Main School or whatever address you put on the Change of Address Form) on October 15th. Hey, that's tomorrow, but give it a couple more days if you are really far from Tokyo.
The books will be accompanied by the textbook itself (Book 1 of 6, CD included) and the general Study Guide with information about how the course is run and how to contact/use the Help Line. Please read the Study Guide carefully before you begin - a schedule for the whole course is available on page 7. The new and improved (we trust) Intermediate course will have a sparkling brand new Kanji Workbook (1 text for the whole course) and should arrive around the same time as the Study Guide and other materials, but it will be delivered in a separate envelope.
CLAIR is working to improve the Language Courses and we trust that they
will meet your expectations.
