Event Information:
The Ebisu Festival is where people celebrate the god Ebisu, one of the 7 gods of good fortune to bring prospertiy to their business(es).
     
First up is the Kiryu Ebisu Festival which is a local festival famous for being the annual celebration of Nishinomiya Shrine in Kiryu. There will be many stalls selling treasure and good luck charms in and around Nishinomiya Shrine on Wednesday, November 19th and Thursday November 20th.
     
Shortly thereafter is the Takasaki Ebisu Festival where local shops hold big sales to show gratitude to their customers, and every year around 600,000 people show up for the fun. The Takasaki Ebisu Festival will be held in Takasaki's city center from Saturday, November 22nd to Monday November 24th.
