Cambodia

hello, does anyone have a lonely planet Cambodia they will be willing to lend me?

I have an older copy(3 years old). Cambodia hasn't changed that much in the last 30 years so it should be good. Accomodation might be better sorted online though. There is a huge section on Angkor with maps and suggested tours which is helpful. A word of advice avoid the Bangkok-Siem Reap bus, it's a scam. We flew for around 50 USD direct from Bangkok or you could try out of Pnom Phen for less.

TY

hey thnaks a lot for the info. i actually wanted the book mainly to help find accomodation, but since you suggested its better done through the net, i think i'll do it that way....
but it will still be nice to get a hold of it to check the info on Angkor wat.
Is it possible to make some kind of pick up arrangement?

Tuk Tuk

As soon as you get there tell one of the two million tuk tuk drivers swarming you that you want to go to a "guest house" and how much you want to pay a night (5$-10$). Accomodations problem solved. Or tell em whatever, fancy hotel, they know where to go.

You wanna tuk?

True that shit. This is the easiest option, although after 5-6 hours on a plane a prebooked room for one night with free hotel pick is recommended. Then the next day roll with the tuk tuk drivers. As Brigg said just give 'em a room rate, they'll sort the rest.
Tuk? No? No Tuk? You wanna buy watch? Good price! Good for you, good for me!
