looking for ao-ume?

So a few people have asked me lately, isn't it too late to make ume-shu? I thought the ume were done.

I too have been feeling the "Where are the ao-ume" desperation lately as all the stores where I know I saw them last weekend have been inexplicably sold out (well, that and it is getting a little bit late in the year). However, I am happy to report that I found 2 kilos of beautiful, grown-in-Gunma ao-ume at Fressay this afternoon.

If you're still interested in making your own ume-shu this year, get thee to a Fressay but quick!

I was actually thinking that exact thing today - dreaming of homemade umeshu during testing week.
