Agatsuma???

Cannot find any information about Agatsuma, can anyone tell me about things like shops, bars, activities, people, map, places of interest, things to do, transport, bullet train? Cannot find much on the internet or in guide books that's in english, everything is in Japanese, and I'm only starting to learn now. Any help appreciated, you can email me direct at:

Got an email from Rahman, current JET and he's given me some excellent details, but I'm still interested in finding out more about the town, social outlets, activities, things to do, places to see, and the people. Plus I still haven't found Agatsuma town on a map, though I now know it's 35km from Maebashi. Info on train line connections would also be useful, I would like to explore a little...

Hope you can get the info you're looking for. Just so you know, Agatsuma is a district in Gunma. The name of your town is Higashiagatsuma. There used to be a town called Agatsuma in the district of Agatsuma, but back in March, it merged with a town called Azuma to form Higashiagatsuma. Since the town of Agatsuma doesn't exist any more, it will be difficult to find it on a map.

yea, I know Rahman. You live pretty close to me. He's got a pretty nice setup, i'm jealous :p
The area you'll be living in is pretty nice IMO, its got a video store, food mart, couplea good restorants, etc.. and its in a pretty good geographic location. I actually prefer the Agatsuma area over Shibukawa (sorry, shibukawa people (T_T) )
