Images

There are two main ways you can add images to this site. You can link to a picture that you have on the internet somewhere else, or you can attach a file and link to it using the [inline:x] tag.

In order to link to an offsite image, you can simply type the html tags directly into your text like this: <img src="http://example.com/image/url.jpg"></img>

To attach an image to the site and link to it with the [inline:x] tag do the following:

First, attach your image. At the bottom of the page you should see a button to choose and a button to attach a file.

Click on 'Choose File' and then navigate and choose the picture or file you want to upload. Here I have an image called 'Gunsen (Fan) .gif' chosen to be uploaded.

Then you must click on 'Attach'. This is very important because if you don't click on attach, your file will not be uploaded even if you submit the content.

Then you go into your text and write in the following tag: [inline:x] Where x is the number of the attached file. For example, say I have three images attached. I go somewhere in my text and type in [inline:2] in order to display the second image.

Here I am going to display the first image I attached.

If you look here, the image is not displaying correctly.

This is because I am only previewing my content. I have not clicked on 'Submit' to fully submit it. The attachments are only registered after you have submitted the content.

Here I have properly submitted my content.
