I found like 10+ more in the 1man to 1.5man range. Depends on what your budget is, but if you want the cheapest I think these places are the best you can get for 2 people in Takasaki.

If it was Tokyo or a more international-ish city I'm sure they would have English translations. Alas, we live in Gunma, lol.

It opened in the last year, so should be very clean. Location is 5 mins walk to the station.

Rate for 2 people is JPY 8,000 excluding tax. Including tax JPY 8,400. Single rooms including tax are JPY 6,300.

Not sure what happened! Yes, they are Western-style hotels. Bathrooms are Western-style, very compact but have what you need.
