User ProfilesThere are two main things you should know: how to access your own profile, and how to access other users'. Your user account: To edit your information, click on 'edit' at the top of that page. You will be taken to your account settings. Here you can change your user name, email address, and password. You can also add a picture to your account that will be displayed next to content and comments you create, like how mine is at the top of this tutorial. There is also a place to write a signature and enable people to contact you. I highly suggest you enable your personal contact form. Your email will not be made public, and since there is no real contact listing for people to contact each other in Gunma, this maybe the only way people can contact you. There is another section at the top called 'personal information'. This is a place to enter your real name and general location. Again, consider entering your real name so people can find and contact you in Gunma. None of the fields are required, but all of them are public and can be viewed by any other registered user. If you are outside of Gunma, there are fields for you to enter in your general location information. Also, please enter in latitude and longitude coordinates so that other users can see you on the map (coming soon). Unless you want to show people exactly where you are, people in Gunma do not have to enter in coordinates; just select their town. In the future, other fields might be added to user profiles. They will work the same as this. Other users' profiles. When you access another user's profile you are shown a link to their personal blog, and any information they have entered into their profile. You can also access their personal contact form from there. If the user has allowed people to contact them, there will be a tab at the top of their profile labeled 'contact'. If you click on this you will go to a form where you can send them an email message. »

contact info
Posting a full email address on the internet can be a bad idea. Bots can read through pages searching for valid email addresses to send spam to. Consider typing something like gajet DOT admin AT gunmajet DOT com. Or even better, enable your personal contact form and type in a link like this:
Captain StagI found out what my user number (3) was by going to my profile and seeing the number that was put in the web address after http://gunmajet.net/user/Contact forms! Yeah!
yeah, that contact form thing is a great idea. Additionally, I like to do mail me!.
But, I have that email on a public PGP key server, and it got harvested from there long ago. Oh well. ;)
