Wildlife biologist and longtime Nagano resident Oscar Huygens is leading wild bear-spotting tours in the Nagano Alps to help offset the costs of his bear conservation NPO. The tours are two days long and depart from Matsumoto three times a week between July 26 and August 25. Costs range between ¥29,000-39,000.
