Hi guys, |

me too ^^
I'm going to Osaka as well but in January with my brothers.
The way i'm getting there is through Tokyo thou. they have over night buses that run from Tokyo and Shinjuku St. and they're pretty cheap, 8610 yen for one way.
here's their site if your interested:

cheaper
you can find night buses heading out of shinjuku for 3500 yen one way pretty easily. although i haven't checked any websites, if you go to the actual bus company (in shinjuku) and they have the schedules and fares posted there.
Found a local company
Hi guys,
Thanks for the advice! I was talking to my JTE yesterday and he found me a company that runs bus from Gunma.
There are buses that go through Maebashi, Takasaki, Kiryu and various cities here in Gunma.
The price is also quite good compare to shinkansen. One good thing I like it is that they have a bus station here in Maebashi. Apparently, I can park my car there while I'm travelling.
The fare from Maebashi to Osaka is:
¥9,600/one way
¥17,280/return
Here's the website. It's in Japanese though:

Please tell me if you guys can find something to TOP this!
=)
I have taken night buses to
I have taken night buses to kyoto before and it was great! It is easy, leaves from Gunma, is cheap, comfortable and stops at rest stops. I felt completely safe doing it as a woman alone, too.

Was it the same one?
Hi Bahia,
Was the bus u took the same as the one I mentioned?
Nihon Chuou Group? I posted a link before. I think it's great, but going to Osaka and back for ¥17,280 is a bit high for buses.
Like back in NZ, the same distance will cost about under ¥10,000.
I wonder if there's another company in Gunma ~
