Any Recommendations for Renting a Car in Takasaki??

What up fellow JETS! My whole family is flying out to Japan this winter break and I need to rent a family-sized car in order to skirt them around our lovely prefecture of Gunma. Is there a car rental company in Takasaki (preferably near the station) that anyone would like to recommend? Any company that rents out cars with an Enlgish GPS feature would make life simpler, but not necessary. Please share your car renting experiences with me. Thanks!!!

Some of us JET's rent cars long-term through Ebachan. I'm not sure if he rents cars short term, but he is great to deal with and speaks English, so it's worth a try!

Toyota

I would recomend "Toyota rent a car" which is located right at the Takasaki Station, I rented from them once. Pretty comfertable cars, great gas milage (cost me like 2000 yen from Yamanashi-ken to Shibukawa in gas), Navi included and all for a pretty reasonable price. And you can drop them off wherever, like you can rent it in Takasaki then drive down to Tokyo or Chiba to see your family off, then you can drop the car off at a Toyota rent a car there(in Chiba/Tokyo), then take a train back home.

Maebashi Car Rental and Romantic Road

Hey All,
I was just gonna write with the same question, as my fam is coming in June. The Japan Romantic Road (http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e7450.html) sounds like a cool, "off the beaten track" thing to do with them... but I don't have wheels. I have an international liscence, but am also scared shitless to drive here. Any advice on rental, driving, other places to go/things of interest while the fam is in town June 21-28th would be MUCH appreciated. TA!
