We are looking for volunteers for the Nakasendo English Conference on Saturday, June 21st. You will be helping us out with registration, directing traffic, etc. Volunteers may attend the conference free of cost. There will be practical presentations you may use in your lessons and it will be a great chance to meet new people. Nakasendo English Conference presented by: Time: 21 June 2008, 10am – 5 pm Theme: Making Connections -Working together to improve teaching practice Numerous organisations in Japan, both at the regional level and at the national level arein the business of teaching English. Each works in a unique environment and serves aunique constituency and therefore each has an expertise. The purpose of this conferenceis to make connections. Through our participation in this conference we will forgerelationships, share ideas and gain new perspectives on the art of teaching English.Toward this end we have gathered together teachers from both large organisations and small organisations in the Kanto area (Saitama, Yokohama, Gunma).
